Sometimes you have to allow yourself to break down to realize just how awesome you truly are. December 2017 was a rouuuuuugh month for me emotionally … Money was tight, I was constantly tired, I felt lonely, disappointed and was just an overall wreck. My New Year’s Eve didn’t go as planned and New Year’s Day was no better. I’ve always held on to the superstition that however you brought in the year would reflect how the rest of your year would go annnnnd babyyyyyyyy it was not looking good.

I was honestly ready to chuck a major deuce and a few profanities at 2017 until about halfway through my second bottle of wine. What was I thinking chucking the deuce to probably my BEST year yet?! The year of my wedding ceremony… The year I filmed, edited and released 14 videos in a single month… The year I watched my baby (IHC) grow and truly flourish… The year I ACTUALLY accomplished most of my goals!!!

This moment was a true example of how if you allow one bad moment to consume you it can ruin your entire… everything. December was simply a speed bump in an overall bomb ass year! 2017 was a year full of amazing firsts that I got to experience with the people I love most. Yes, I do still need to work on being realistic about my relationships with certain people, find a new job and probably work out a little more. But overall I didn’t make any terrible choices, I don’t have any toxic loose ends and there’s plenty room for growth.

It took me a few days and a conversation with my Day 1 A1 but I am officially ready to embrace and dominate 2018. So with that, I’ve decided to do something I haven’t done before… Today I’ll be sharing my 2018 – 6-month goals publically to help hold myself accountable. The only way you can get things done is if you claim them and set upon a plan.
