Firecracker chicken meatballs!! Here’s a delicious recipe I found online! Pair these with some broccoli and rice for a meal, or just enjoy a few for an afternoon snack!
-1.5 lbs ground chicken
– 2 eggs
– 1 cup crushed crackers
– ½ tsp paprika
– 3 tbsp minced garlic
– 1 tsp onion powder
-1 tsp pepper
– 1 tsp creole seasoning
– 1 tsp Kick’n Chicken seasoning
– ½ cup Franks red hot sauce
– 1 cup brown sugar
– 2 tbsp vinegar
-1 tsp roasted garlic and herb seasoning
Preheat oven to 475 degrees. Combine chicken, eggs, crackers and seasonings in a large bowl. Shape 2 tbsp of chicken mixture into meatballs. Place meatballs onto a well- greased pan. Bake for 11-14 minutes, turning meatballs halfway through to ensure they cook evenly.
Combine sauce ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir and let cook for roughly 10 minutes.
Let sauce cool for a few minutes. Toss the meatballs in your firecracker sauce and enjoy!
P.s. If you want this to be a slightly healthier option, only drizzle a small amount of sauce on the meatballs instead of tossing them in the sauce. (The sauce is delicious, so good luck resisting using it allllll!)
