“Mirror, mirror on the wall who’s the fairest of them all?”

Hey hipsters, we’re back for the second weekend of the IHC Costume Series. Today I’ll be showcasing the fairest queen of them all… THE Evil Queen.

So for today’s look, we’re going to start off with the eyes. I’ll be utilizing the Morphe 35M and Juvia’s Place Zulu palettes. These palettes aren’t required so feel free to use whatever palettes you already own.

Start off by applying your favorite eye primer. I’m using Morphe’s Eyelid Primer. I’m going to immediately follow that up by applying Black Magic (#35) from the Morphe 35M all over my lid.

Next apply the purple shade (#9) from the Zulu palette right above the black, buffing out the edges.

Once the purple and black have a smooth transition apply the red/pink (#8) shade from the Zulu palette on top of the purple. The colors should form a gradient from light to dark.

Now we’re going to take a break from our eyes and finish out our face. For foundation I’m using NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop in the color “Nutmeg”. Born This Way Concealer in the color “Warm Sand” and contoured my face with the deepest shade in Anastasia Beverly Hills powder contour kit. Feel free to use your favorite complexion products just make sure for your contour you use a cooler color.

Once done contouring we’re going to go in with Black Radiance Artisan Color Baked Blush in the color “Warm Berry”. We are then going to top that blush with another Black Radiance Artisan Color Baked Blush in the color “Plum Sorbet”. Feel free to go in with a cooler tone purple. These are the only purple blushes that I own, but I feel like they came out great!

Now back to the eyes! We’re going to go ahead and finish out our lower lash line by applying the black, purple and pinkish red. Be sure to apply the shades from darkest to lightest buffing out each as you apply.

Now we’re going to apply Grape Expectations (#32) from the Morphe 35M in our inner corner to finish off the eyeshadow.

Now we’re going to go ahead and get these brows under control lol. I’ll be using Benefits precisely, my brow eyebrow pencil in 6. I’m also going to top my brows in a little Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel. To finish up the eyes and make this look really dramatic I’m going to apply some falsies. I’ll be using Ardell’s fauxmink 811.

Now we’re going to apply a little highlighter to our cheeks and brow bone. I’m using Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in the color Snow but any white highlighter will work.

We’re ALMOST DONE!!! Line your lips with NYX Liquid Suede in Alien Black. Fill in the center with CoverGirl’s Star Wars Limited Edition Colorlicious Lipstick in Purple No. 50, then finally top it with Morphe 35M Indi-glow Kween (31).
