Today I’m going to be doing a November B.O.M.B. Haul. If you haven’t heard about our BOMB challenge yet, from the beginning of November until about March we are only buying Black Owned Makeup and Skin Care Brands and with that every month we are going to try and do a general haul of all the products we’ve purchased and/or tried for the month. If we don’t buy enough products each month it may go down to every other month. Don’t quite know yet it really all depends on how much all this makeup starts to costs. But in these hauls we are going to give you general information on each product, if we liked them, what we liked about the products and where you can go to buy them. We also plan to do in-depth reviews on most of these items as well in either their on video post or blog post if you’re still on the fence about making a purchase.

So let’s get started. The first items I have are the Juvia’s Place Nubian 1, Nubian 2 and Masquerade eyeshadow palettes. Let me tell you, these palettes are literally the BOMB. They are super pigmented, affordable and the color options are amazing. We actually have a video showing you a great holiday/fall look you can achieve with the Nubian 1 palette. These palettes are definitely worth the money and can easily go along with any eyeshadow bundle you already have. All of these palettes have great colors within them so I couldn’t really tell you which is my favorite. But check out their website they regularly have sales especially around the holiday season.

764302214571The next item I have is the Shea Moisture African Water Mint & Ginger Detox Shea Butter Soap. Guys, this soap is amazing. Honestly, I really love anything that has a little mint in it so I really really love this soap. They actually also have a conditioner, leave-in detangler, scalp elixir, bubble bath, shampoo, body scrub, and lip balm all within this line! I actually just learned that they offered all these other options so I plan to check that stuff out soon cause this soap is great. It smells really good and you just feel clean and refreshed after using it. I will say that it does melt easily so make sure you keep this away from your shower stream, but I definitely recommend this soap!

imanThe next item I have is the Iman Perfect Response Oil Blotting Powder in the shade light-medium. It took me forever to find a store in Indiana that actually carried Iman. So if you’re in Indy the Target on West 38th street has just about everything. Currently, I use this blotting powder as a setting powder to set my liquid foundation. It comes with a little fluffy puff but I prefer to just use a large powder brush to lightly apply it all over my face. It’s really nice and does a pretty decent job. I found that I do have to reapply it as the day progresses cause I have pretty oily skin. But overall the powder is not too bad. I don’t feel like I look like a ghost after applying it like with some setting powders and it doesn’t make you look chalky in pictures. This powder comes in at about $16 so it’s pretty affordable and can easily fit into just about any makeup routine.

Well that’s all the products I have for this month. If you have any feedback, comments or product suggestions please be sure to leave it in the comment section below. We love to hear from you guys. Check us out next month for even more reviews and product hauls. Be sure to follow us on social media and subscribe to our youtube channel to stay up to date on our latest blogs and video posts.
