So after a bit of a hiatus, I’m finally back to continue the TGIN Natural Hair Series. Today I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the TGIN Wash Day Products as well as showing you guys how I use the Hot Head Thermal Hair Care Cap with the TGIN Honey Miracle Hair Mask.

Most of the time when I try a new line of products I test out the stylers but stick with my normal shampoo, conditioner, and deep conditioner combination. This go round I decided to go ahead and give TGIN’s shampoo and conditioner a try. I’ve been a huge fan of the Honey Miracle Hair Mask so I figured their other items couldn’t be too bad.

Typically, I’m not a fan of moisturizing shampoos. I never feel like my hair is completely clean when I use them so I opt for more clarifying options. The TGIN Moisture Rich Sulfate Free Shampoo shockingly leaves my scalp feeling clean without stripping my strands. I think it’s the perfect combination of clean and moisture. I’m able to easily put my hair in sections and even lightly detangle while having a clean scalp, which is something I never experience when using a clarifying shampoo alone.

As for the TGIN Triple Moisture Replenishing Conditioner, this mug is the real MVP! It has soooo much slip and makes my detangling process so easy. I typically use the Honey Miracle Hair Mask as my in shower conditioner so knowing I can use the actual conditioner within their line and get the same results is amazing. It’s super easy to work with, leaves my hair super soft and smells great!

In addition to trying out the Wash Day products that are carried within the TGIN line I decided to also give the HotHeads Thermal Cap a whirl. The Hot Head Thermal Hair Care Cap is a bonnet style cap filled with flaxseeds that when put into the microwave can be warmed up and used in place of a hooded dryer. I partnered the Thermal Cap with the TGIN Honey Miracle Hair Mask and loved the results. I honestly HAAAAATE using a hooded dryer so this portable cap has been awesome. I will say though, I think the cap is a little small for it to be geared for people with natural hair. There’s no way this cap will fit over an afro or mid to high ponytail. Putting your hair into sections or some type of flatten state is a must.

Overall I really enjoyed using the TGIN Wash Day products and recommend them if you’re looking to try something new. Check out my video above for my full review and thoughts on all the products and a demo on how to use the Hot Head Thermal Cap.

Have you tried TGIN’s wash day products? If so which is your favorite?
