So today I’ll be showing you guys how I did this cool space bun style using my Kurly Klips hair extensions and the Garnier Fructis Curl Scrunch and Curl Renew Spray. Back in October, we got a new Halloween Voxbox from Influenster. We didn’t really have time to throw in another video that incorporated these products but we wanted to try them out regardless. When I first opened the box and saw the items inside I really didn’t think they would work on my naturally curly, coarse, thick hair but I was pleasantly surprised once I got into styling my hair.

Garnier Fructis Curl Scrunch Controlling Gel (Shea Butter)

This gel was shockingly a lot thinner than I thought it would be. I’ve used Garnier Fructis gels in the past and they’ve always been very thick and sticky so when this gel came out like water I was blown away. I wouldn’t call this a very strong holding gel but I really like it as a soft gel that will get your hair going in the right direction. It smells great, doesn’t get super hard, doesn’t flake and allows you to restyle your hair the next day without having regrets that you put gel in your hair. For people with thicker hair who aren’t looking for a super smooth flat finish, this gel would be perfect for them. I don’t think this gel would work as a wash and go gel for me but for those with finer thin hair it may work.

Garnier Fructis Curl Renew Reactivating Milk Spray (Coconut Oil)

So overall both products worked a lot better than I anticipated especially the Curl Renew Reactivating Milk Spray. I used this spray in both my hair as well as my Kurly Klip clip-ins, which are 100% human hair. I think it worked great on both. I wouldn’t say the spray reactivated my curls, but it did refresh my hair overall making it soft, pliable and smell great. I would definitely buy this spray for my hair extensions but not necessarily for my actual hair since I try to steer clear from using a lot of coconut oil and shea butter in my hair products.
